Common questions answered.
- Does the subscription renew automatically?
- Yes. Season and Pro plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (annually for Season, monthly or annually for Pro). You can cancel anytime from your billing settings and you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
- How do I cancel?
- Cancel anytime from the billing settings page in your account (the self-service customer portal), or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals. You won't receive a refund for the current period already paid, but you'll keep access until it ends.
- What is the difference between Per Event and a subscription?
- Per Event is a one-time purchase ($149) that covers a single tournament — no subscription, no auto-renewal. Season ($790/yr) and Pro ($240/mo or $2,400/yr) are recurring subscriptions that let you run unlimited tournaments while active. Per-event credits are non-refundable once consumed.
- Is there a discount for charities and nonprofits?
- Qualifying 501(c) and nonprofit charity golf events run free — scoring, leaderboards, check-in, sponsors, and the full charity fundraising suite (donations, auctions, raffles, receipts), no cost. Approval is required. Apply using the charity application form and we'll get you set up.
- What are the fees on registration payments? What is the 1%?
- When you use Pro + Payments, players pay you directly through your own connected Stripe account. Stripe charges their standard processing fees (around 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). On top of that, ScrambleSync charges a 1% platform fee on those player payments. These are separate from your monthly or annual plan subscription.
