Export auction winners and re-open an auction
Quick answer
After you click Close auction, two buttons appear on the Auction tab: Export winners CSV and Re-open. Export winners CSV downloads auction-winners.csv with one row for each item whose winner is locked: Item, Winner, Contact, Amount and FMV. Re-open puts the auction back to Live so bidding starts again on every item that isn't locked yet.

Overview
When bidding is over, you can download a list of your auction winners to follow up on payment and pickup. If you closed too early, you can re-open the auction.
Who this is for
Admins and managers running a silent auction. Check-in staff don't see the Auction tab. The Auction tab only shows up once we've turned the auction on for your account.
Download the winners list
Close the auction
On the Auction tab, click Close auction and confirm. Export winners CSV and Re-open only show once the auction is closed.
Lock your winners
Click Lock winner on each item, or Lock all winners. Only locked items go into the file. The item's status changes to Winner locked.
Click Export winners CSV
A file named auction-winners.csv downloads right away. Open it in Excel or Google Sheets.
What's in the file
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Item | The item name |
| Winner | The winning bidder's full name |
| Contact | The email the winner gave when they bid |
| Amount | The winning bid in dollars, for example 250.00 |
| FMV | The fair market value you entered. Blank if you didn't enter one. |
Re-open a closed auction
Click Re-open
On a closed auction, click Re-open.
Confirm
We ask: Open the auction? Bidders will be able to place bids immediately. Click OK.
Bidding starts again
The status goes back to Live and the Close auction button comes back. Close the auction again when you're done.
Re-open does not unlock winners. An item you already locked stays Winner locked, and bidders see Winner selected ✓ on it with no way to bid. Items that aren't locked take bids again, starting from their current high bid.
Lock winner and Lock all winners only show while the auction is closed. To lock more winners after a re-open, click Close auction first.
Tips
- Lock every winner before you export, so the file is complete.
- Export again after you lock more items. Each export has every locked winner so far.
- The bidding page doesn't take payment. Use the Contact column to reach winners about paying and picking up.
Troubleshooting
| If you see this | Try this |
|---|---|
| I don't see Export winners CSV | The auction is still Live or in Draft. Click Close auction first. |
| No locked winners to export yet. | Lock at least one winner with Lock winner or Lock all winners, then export. |
| An item with bids is missing from the file | Its winner isn't locked. Click Lock winner on that item and export again. |
| I re-opened but bidders see This auction is no longer accepting bids. | The item's winner is locked, or the Closes at time you set when you created the auction has passed. There's no setting on the Auction tab to change that time. Email [email protected]. |

Does Re-open undo the winners I locked?
No. Locked items stay locked and take no more bids. Only items without a locked winner take bids again.
Does re-opening send the winners another receipt?
Re-open doesn't send anything. Receipts go out when you click Lock winner on an item.
