Rename your event or fix the course name
Quick answer
Open the event and click the pencil next to its name at the top (it says Edit name and course when you point at it). Change the name or the course name, then click Save. Only the words change: the course name is a label, so your holes, par, tees and hole map stay the same.

Overview
The event name and the course name sit at the top of every page of your event. You can fix either one at any time, even while the event is live.
Who this is for
Admins and Managers. Check-in logins can't rename an event.
Change the name
Open your event
Click the event on your dashboard.
Click the pencil
It's next to the event name at the top. Pointing at it shows Edit name and course.
Type the new wording
The first box is the event name. The second box, Course name, is the course line shown under it.
Click Save
The new name shows straight away. Click Cancel to leave things as they were.
What changes and what doesn't
- The new name shows on your event pages straight away, and on your public event page within about a minute.
- The course name is only the words under the event name. Changing it doesn't change your holes, par, stroke index, tees or the hole map.
- Your event's web address stays the same, so links and QR codes you already shared keep working.
- Scores, teams and registrations aren't touched.

Frequently asked questions
If I change the course name, does it change the holes?
No. The course name is only a label. Your holes, par, tees and hole map stay as they are.
Will my event link change if I rename the event?
No. The link stays the same, so anything you already shared still works.
