Rename your team
Quick answer
If your team was assigned a default name like '3B', you'll see a prompt to rename it when you first join. Type a name your group will recognise and tap Save team name. This changes what appears on the leaderboard for everyone.

When the rename prompt appears
The rename prompt only shows up when your team has an auto-generated name (a short combination like '2A' or '14C'). If the organizer already gave your team a custom name, you won't see this prompt.
How to rename your team
Enter your team name in the box
Type whatever name your group wants to use on the leaderboard — up to 60 characters. Example: 'The Birdie Hunters'.
Tap Save team name
The name is saved and you land on your scorecard. The leaderboard updates to show the new name within seconds.
Or tap 'Keep [current name]' to skip
If you're happy with the assigned name, tap the skip link at the bottom. You can't rename again after skipping or saving.
Frequently asked questions
I didn't see the rename prompt. Can I still rename?
If you skipped it or the prompt didn't appear, ask the event organizer to rename the team for you from their dashboard.
Can someone else on my team rename us?
The rename prompt appears for whoever opens the scorecard first. Only one person on the team needs to do it.
