Signing your scorecard
Quick answer
Once every hole is scored and synced, a 'Sign & finalize scorecard' section appears at the bottom of your scorecard. Enter your name, tap Sign & lock, then confirm. Your card is locked permanently — scores cannot be changed after signing.

When the sign section appears
The sign section only appears when every hole has a score entered AND all scores have finished syncing to the server. If any scores are still showing 'saving...' or 'sync error', wait for them to resolve first.
How to sign
Scroll to the bottom of the Scorecard tab
The 'Sign & finalize scorecard' card appears below the last hole once all scores are in.
Type your full name in the name field
This is the captain's (scorekeeper's) name. It pre-fills with the name you entered when you picked up the card at the start of the round.
Tap Sign & lock
A confirmation dialog appears: 'Lock your scorecard? Scores cannot be changed after signing.'
Tap Yes, sign & lock to confirm
Your card is now signed and locked. You'll see a green confirmation banner: 'Card signed — scores are final and locked. Thanks for playing!'
After signing
After you sign, you'll be prompted to snap a group photo and optionally leave feedback about your experience. Both are optional and don't affect your scores.
Frequently asked questions
The Sign section isn't appearing.
Check that every hole has a score — scroll through all holes on the Scorecard tab. Also make sure there are no scores stuck on 'sync error'. Fix any errors first, then the sign section will appear.
I signed by mistake or entered the wrong name.
Contact the event organizer. Only they can unlock and correct a signed card.
Does every player on the team need to sign?
In scramble format, only the scorekeeper (captain) signs for the team. In best-ball or individual formats, each golfer signs their own card.
What does signing actually do?
It locks all the scores so they can't be edited from the phone, and it records your attestation that the scores are correct. The organizer sees your card as 'signed' on their end.
