Entering scores hole by hole
Quick answer
On your scorecard, tap the number of strokes your team took on each hole and it saves automatically. The screen advances to the next hole on its own after a short pause. Your score is live on the leaderboard within seconds.

The scorecard screen
When you open the app, you land on the Scorecard tab. The current hole is shown with its par, yardage, and a row of score buttons. Tap the number of strokes your team made.
Entering a score
Tap the stroke count for the hole
Score buttons run from 1 up to several strokes above par. Tap the right number. The button highlights when selected.
Wait for the save confirmation
A brief 'Saved' indicator appears. The screen automatically advances to the next hole in your rotation after a short countdown. Tap Cancel auto-advance if you need to stay on the current hole.
Move between holes manually if needed
Use the left and right arrows at the bottom of the scorecard to go back or forward to any hole. You can edit a score you already entered — just tap a different number.
Sponsor ads on the scorecard
Some holes show a small sponsor banner below the score buttons. This is the hole sponsor's ad. Tapping it may open their website. It doesn't affect scoring.
Other tabs
At the bottom of the screen you'll see tabs: Scorecard, Leaderboard, Games (if the organizer set up side games), and Messages. Tap any tab to switch. Your scorecard is always waiting on the Scorecard tab.
Frequently asked questions
I tapped the wrong score. Can I fix it?
Yes. Go back to that hole using the left arrow and tap the correct number. Scores can be changed until you sign and lock your card at the end of the round.
The score didn't seem to save. What do I do?
Check the status bar at the top — if it says 'no signal', your score is safely stored on your phone and will sync when you're back online. If a score shows a sync error, tap the hole to retry.
My screen keeps going to sleep while I'm scoring.
ScrambleSync tries to keep your screen awake automatically while you're on the Scorecard tab. If it's still going to sleep, check your phone's auto-lock setting and increase it.
