GPS yardage and course map
Quick answer
Your scorecard shows a live satellite map of the current hole with your GPS position. It displays yardage to the front, center, and back of the green in real time as you move. Tap the Map toggle in the top-right corner of the scorecard to show or hide it.

Turning on the map
Tap the Map toggle at the top right of the scorecard
The toggle is labeled 'Map'. Tap it once to expand the satellite map below the hole info. Tap it again to hide the map and show more of the scorecard.
Allow location access when your browser asks
The first time you open the map, your browser asks permission to use your location. Tap Allow. Without location access, the map still shows the course satellite view but won't show your position or yardages.
Wait a moment for your position to appear
A blue dot marks where you are on the map. Yardages to the front, center, and back of the green appear once your GPS position is confirmed.
Reading the yardages
Three numbers show on the map: Front, Center, and Back — these are the distances from your current position to the front edge, center, and back edge of the green, measured in yards. They update automatically as your cart moves.
If GPS is blocked or not loading
If you see a 'Location access blocked' message, your browser was denied permission. Follow the on-screen steps to re-enable location in your browser settings, then tap Try again. On iPhone using Safari, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Safari and set it to While Using.
Frequently asked questions
The yardages aren't showing even though location is allowed.
The organizer may not have set tee and green markers for every hole. If a hole has no markers configured, yardages won't appear for that hole. The satellite map still shows.
The map isn't loading at all.
Check your signal. The map tiles need a data connection to load. If you're in a dead zone, you'll see a blank or partial map — this is normal and doesn't affect scoring.
Does the organizer see where I am on the map?
Yes. The organizer's event dashboard includes a live course map that shows every team's position using the GPS from whoever's phone is doing the scoring.
