How sponsorship works on ScrambleSync
Quick answer
As a sponsor, you get a private portal where you upload your logo and write a short ad. That ad appears on every golfer's phone scorecard — either on your assigned hole or across the whole event. The organizer gives you a sponsor code to access your portal.

Getting your sponsor code
The event organizer adds you as a sponsor and can send an invite to your email address. The email includes your unique sponsor code. You can also receive the code directly from the organizer.
Accessing the sponsor portal
Go to scramblesync.com/sponsor on your phone or computer
No account or download needed. Just a browser.
Enter your sponsor code and tap Enter
The code is provided by the organizer — check your invite email. It auto-capitalizes as you type.
You're in your sponsor portal
You'll see the event name, your assigned hole (if any), and options to upload a logo, set a headline, write ad copy, and add a link.
What you can set up
| Field | What it does | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Logo | Your company logo shown on the ad banner | No, but recommended |
| Headline | Short promotional line shown next to your name (e.g. 'Free club fitting!') | No |
| Ad body | A second line of detail text below the headline | No |
| Link | A URL golfers can tap to visit your website | No |
If you only provide a name and nothing else, the scorecard shows a simple 'Hole sponsored by [Your Name]' or 'Special thanks to [Your Name]' banner — clean and professional without needing any ad content.
Where your ad appears
Your ad banner appears on the golfer scorecard when they're playing the hole assigned to you. If you're an event-level sponsor (not assigned to a specific hole), the banner appears on every hole's scorecard as a fallback when no hole-specific sponsor is set.
Running a closest-to-the-pin or long-drive contest
If the organizer has set up a contest (closest-to-the-pin, longest drive) on your hole, golfers can record a claim from their scorecard. Contest results appear on the leaderboard. The organizer manages the contest setup — contact them if you'd like one on your hole.
Frequently asked questions
I don't have a sponsor code. How do I get one?
Contact the event organizer. They add you as a sponsor from their dashboard and can send you your code by email or share it directly.
Can I update my logo or ad after the event starts?
Yes. Log back into your portal with your code at any time and save changes. Updates appear on golfer scorecards within seconds.
Which hole is mine?
Your portal shows the hole number assigned to you by the organizer. If no hole is listed, you're an event-level sponsor and your ad shows across all holes.
Can I see how many golfers saw my ad?
Impression counts are not currently available in the sponsor portal. Ask the organizer for the total number of players in the event.
