Raffles
Quick answer
Set up a raffle by adding an add-on product in Registration and marking it as a raffle product. Golfers buy tickets during registration checkout. On the day of the event, open the Contests tab and select Raffle, choose the raffle product, and click Draw winner — the tool animates a weighted random draw (more tickets = higher chance) and records each winner.

Open the Registration tab in your tournament dashboard.
Add an add-on product
Click Add product, choose the Add-on type, and enter the raffle ticket name (e.g. Raffle ticket — $10 each) and price.
Mark it as a raffle
Check the This is a raffle product checkbox before saving. This connects the product to the Raffle draw tool.

Enter a ticket quantity limit if you want to cap sales at a specific number of tickets.
Drawing winners
Once golfers have registered and purchased raffle tickets, open the Contests tab and select Raffle. If you have multiple raffle products, select the one you want to draw from. The page shows total entries, number of buyers, and a list of ticket holders with their ticket counts.
Click Draw winner
The tool runs a weighted random draw — each ticket purchased equals one entry. The screen animates through names before landing on the winner.
Winner is recorded
The winner's name, email, ticket count, and draw number are saved. They are excluded from future draws for the same product in the same session.
Draw again if needed
Click Draw winner again to draw a second prize winner. Each draw excludes previous winners automatically. Use Clear winners to reset and start over.
Weighted drawing explained
The draw is weighted by tickets purchased. A buyer who purchased 5 tickets has five times the chance of winning compared to someone who bought one ticket. The tool uses a cryptographically random server-side draw, not a client-side calculation.
Frequently asked questions
Can I draw more than one winner?
Yes. Click Draw winner multiple times. Each previous winner is excluded from subsequent draws automatically. The draw number (1st, 2nd, 3rd…) is recorded for each winner.
Can I sell raffle tickets on the day of the event rather than at registration?
Raffle tickets are sold through the online registration checkout only. There is no cash or walk-up ticket sale tool in ScrambleSync today.
Does ScrambleSync handle raffle permits or reporting?
No. ScrambleSync provides the draw tool only. Permit requirements, reporting obligations, and prize fulfillment are entirely the responsibility of your organization.
