How the pieces fit together
A typical charity golf tournament uses several of these together. Before the event, share the public donation link with donors and open registration with add-ons (mulligans, raffle books). During the event, run the silent auction live while golfers play — they bid from their phones. After the round, draw raffle winners and lock auction bids. Nonprofit free plan
Registered 501(c) nonprofits can apply for free access to ScrambleSync. Submit an application from the Pricing page (look for the nonprofit link) with your organization name, EIN, and contact details. Applications are reviewed manually and you will hear back by email. There is no co-branding requirement.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to use all the charity features?
No. Each feature is independent. You can run only donations, only an auction, only a raffle, or any combination. Nothing is turned on by default — you enable what you need.
Are charity features available on all plans?
The silent auction is available on every plan by default. Donations and the raffle draw come with the Pro + Payments and Charity plans. The add-on store also requires Pro + Payments (it uses Stripe checkout). Nonprofits on the free Charity plan get the full fundraising suite at no charge.
Does ScrambleSync issue official tax receipts?
ScrambleSync sends payment acknowledgment emails that include the required IRS written acknowledgment language. These are not a guarantee of deductibility — that depends on your organization's tax-exempt status. See the Fundraising receipts article for details.
