Registration waitlist
Quick answer
When a registration product sells out, a waitlist option automatically appears on the public registration page. Golfers enter their name and email to join the queue. You manage the waitlist manually from the Registration tab — marking people as invited, converting them to registered, or removing them. ScrambleSync does not email waitlist members automatically.

How golfers join the waitlist
Once a product's inventory is exhausted, the public registration page shows a Join waitlist option for that category. Golfers enter their name, email, and optionally their party size. No payment is collected at this point.
Managing the waitlist
Open the Registration tab and scroll to the Waitlist card. Each entry shows the person's name, email, the product they are waiting for, party size, date they joined, and current status.
| Status | What it means | Actions available |
|---|---|---|
| Waiting | In the queue, not yet contacted | Mark invited · Cancel |
| Invited | You have offered them a spot | Mark registered · Cancel |
| Registered | They completed registration | — |
| Cancelled | Removed from consideration | Remove |
Offer a spot
When a spot opens — via cancellation or by increasing inventory — find the next person with Waiting status and click Mark invited. Reach out to them by email yourself (ScrambleSync does not send automatic waitlist notifications).
Confirm their registration
After they complete registration, click Mark registered to close the loop on their waitlist entry.
Cancel or remove
Click Cancel to mark someone as no longer being considered. Click Remove to delete their entry entirely.
Frequently asked questions
Does the waitlist appear automatically when slots sell out?
Yes. As soon as a product reaches its inventory limit, the public registration page shows the waitlist option for that product — no action needed from you.
Can I add someone to the waitlist manually from the dashboard?
Not currently. The waitlist is populated by golfers self-joining from the public registration page when a product is sold out.
