Sending, extending and turning off demo invites (ScrambleSync staff)
Quick answer
ScrambleSync staff send demo invites from the Demo accounts page of the admin site. Enter the prospect's name, email and company, then press Create demo and send email. The same page lists every demo, and lets you send the link again, add 14 days, or turn a demo off and back on. Nothing is ever deleted.

How long things last
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| The link in the email | 14 days from when it was sent |
| The demo itself | 30 days from the day the prospect presses Start my demo on the invite page |
The list
Below the form, every demo shows who it's for, its status, when the link is good until, when access ends, and how many events and golfers it has.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Sent, not opened | The prospect hasn't used the link yet, so the 30 days haven't started. |
| Active | They pressed Start my demo and the 30 days are running. |
| Ended | The 30 days ran out. |
| Turned off | Staff turned it off. |
Resend, extend, turn off
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Send link again | Emails a brand-new link and stops the old one from working. Use it when a link ran out or the email got lost. It's not available while the demo is turned off. |
| Add 14 days | Adds two weeks to the end date. If the demo had already ended, the 14 days start from today. Shown once the prospect has pressed Start my demo. |
| Turn off | Asks you to confirm, then stops the demo. The prospect can still sign in but sees Your demo has been turned off, and nothing can be changed. |
| Turn back on | Restores a turned-off demo. Shown only on turned-off demos. |

A prospect says their link doesn't work. What do I do?
Check their status in the list. If the link ran out, use Send link again. If they were turned off, use Turn back on, then send the link again.
Can I pick a different course for one prospect?
No. Every demo uses the same course and nine holes.
Does turning off a demo delete anything?
No. The account, event and scores are kept.
