Cart signs and tee sheets
Quick answer
Go to Teams → Cart Signs. Click 'Edit layout' to open the drag-and-drop editor. Design your sign once and ScrambleSync generates one per team — each filled with that team's hole number, player names, and QR code. Click 'Download PDF' when done.

Open the editor
Go to Teams → Cart Signs
Open your tournament and click Teams, then Cart Signs. You'll see a preview sign for every team.
Click Edit layout
Click Edit layout to open the design editor. Click Close editor any time to hide it — your signs stay exactly as you left them.

Templates
Start from a ready-made layout. Pick one and it replaces the current design.
Add
Add your own text box, a colored box (panel), or a line (divider).
Undo / Redo
Step backward or forward through your changes. Keyboard: Cmd+Z / Cmd+Shift+Z (or Ctrl on Windows).
Logo and Start time
Upload or replace your event logo, and set the shotgun start time that prints on every sign.
Done
Closes the editor. There's no save button — changes save automatically.
Add your logo
Open Logo → Upload logo
Choose an image file. Use Replace logo to swap it or Remove to take it off. PNG with a transparent background looks best.
Adjust transparency
Click the logo on the sign to select it, then drag the transparency slider in the control bar that appears. Great for a faint watermark behind the text.
Move and resize elements
Click to select
Click any element on the sign. A blue outline and a control bar appear.
Drag to move
Drag the selected element anywhere. Purple guide lines appear when it aligns with center or edges. Hold Cmd/Ctrl while dragging to ignore guides.
Drag a corner to resize
Grab one of the blue corner squares and drag to resize.
Nudge with arrow keys
With something selected, arrow keys move it one step at a time. Hold Shift for bigger jumps.
Text that fills itself in
Type one of these tokens inside a text box and it is replaced automatically on each sign: {course_name}, {hole_number}, {team_name}, {start_time}.
Saving and printing
It saves as you go
There's no save button. The bar shows 'Saving…' then 'All changes saved'. If it ever says it couldn't save, click Retry.
Download the PDF
Click Download PDF to get a print-ready file — one sign per team, with the correct hole, players, and QR code on each.
Tips and troubleshooting
- Too much empty space around a field? Select it and click Fit — the box shrinks to hug the text or logo.
- An element keeps moving by accident? Select it and click the lock icon in the control bar.
- Changed a template but want to go back? Use Undo — or re-apply the original template from the Templates menu.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own logo on the cart signs?
Yes. Open Logo in the toolbar, then Upload logo. PNG files with transparent backgrounds look best. You can adjust the logo's transparency to use it as a watermark.
Does every team get a different sign?
Yes. You design the layout once and ScrambleSync generates one sign per team, automatically filling in each team's hole number, player names, and QR code.
How do I set the shotgun start time on the sign?
