Score check and audit log
Quick answer
The Score check tab automatically flags scores that look unusual — such as scores edited after a card was signed — and lets you mark each one as reviewed or dismissed. The Audit log tab shows a permanent, timestamped record of every score change, sign-off, and organizer action for the tournament.
On this page
Score check tab
Open the Score check tab in your tournament dashboard. The system automatically runs checks every time you load the page — you don't need to click anything to trigger it. Any unusual scores appear as flags.
Where flags come from
| Source | What it means |
|---|---|
| Auto-check | The system detected something unusual — for example, a score edited after the card was signed. |
| Organizer note | An organizer manually added a flag or note to a team. |
| Sponsor report | A sponsor flagged a score from their view. These are shown with a red highlight as high-priority items. |
Flag severity
Each flag has a severity of High, Medium, or Low. High flags (especially sponsor reports) are shown at the top of the list and highlighted in red. Review the most severe flags first.
Resolving flags
Review the flag
Read the flag description. It shows the team name, the type of issue, and which hole it was observed on (if applicable).
Investigate if needed
Click over to the Audit log tab to see the full history of score changes for that team.
Mark reviewed or dismissed
Click 'Mark reviewed' if you looked into it and everything is fine, or 'Mark dismissed' if it is not a real issue. Resolved flags move to the bottom of the list.
Audit log tab
The Audit log tab shows a permanent, timestamped record of everything that happened in the tournament — who submitted a score, who changed it, who signed a card, and every organizer action. Entries show the time, the action, the email of the person who did it, and relevant details. The log shows the 200 most recent events grouped by date.
- The log cannot be edited or deleted — it is a permanent record
- Export the full log as a CSV file using the Export CSV button in the top-right of the log
- System-generated actions (such as automatic status changes) appear with 'system' instead of an email address
Exporting for score disputes
From the Score check tab, use the 'Export audit (CSV)' or 'Export audit (PDF)' buttons to download the integrity report. This includes all flags and their status, useful if a score dispute needs to be resolved after the event.
Frequently asked questions
Will flags appear automatically, or do I need to click Refresh?
Flags are recalculated automatically every time you open the Score check tab. The Refresh button forces a manual re-run if you want to check immediately after making a change.
Is there a limit to how many audit events are stored?
All events are stored permanently. The Audit log tab displays the 200 most recent. Export to CSV to see the full history beyond 200 entries.
Does the audit log include scores entered by organizers using manual score entry?
Yes — every score change, regardless of who made it, is recorded in the audit log with the actor's email and a timestamp.
