Overview
The recap is a public wrap-up page for your event. It shows the winners, money raised, final standings, photos and sponsors. Each team can also have a small result card with its place and score that golfers share with friends.
Who this is for

Preview and share the recap
Open the event Overview
Find the Event recap card. Before the event is final it says Goes live automatically when the event is marked final. Preview it now.
Click Preview recap
The recap opens in a new tab so you can see what golfers will see. Only people with write access to the event can preview. A note at the top says it goes public automatically once the event is marked final.
Mark the event final
When play is done, mark the event final. The recap becomes public at that moment.
Click View & share recap
After the event is final (or archived), the same card says A shareable page with winners, money raised, photos, and sponsors. Click View & share recap to open the public page, then copy the link from your browser to share it.
The public leaderboard also shows a View & share event recap button once the event is final, unless you turned off Public recap page.
What's on the recap
- Winners: the overall winners, flight winners, contest winners and prize drawings, when you have them.
- Achievements: fun badges for teams, like Champion, Top 3 finish, birdies and eagles. Shown only when Achievement badges is on.
- Money raised: total donations, with your fundraising goal if you set one.
- Final standings: the full leaderboard.
- Photos: your photo wall, when Photo wall is on and there are photos.
- Our Sponsors, and a link to the Full leaderboard.
Before the event is final, visitors see Results will appear here once the event wraps instead, with a link to View the live leaderboard.
Two-day events
If your event runs over two days, the Final standings section has a day selector with Day 1, Day 2 and Combined. The recap opens on Combined, the ranking of all teams. Tap a day to see just that day. The selector appears once the event is final. In your preview it's hidden and you always see Combined.
Team result cards
On the recap, each team listed under Achievements has a Share link. It opens that team's result card at scramblesync.com/e/your-event-address/share/ followed by an ID that belongs to that team (it isn't their join code). The card shows your event logo, the team's place, the team name, the event name and the team's score. The score and place only show for teams that have played.
On the card, a golfer taps Share our result. On a phone this opens the share sheet. Otherwise it copies the link and the button says Link copied! A link to See the full recap is under the button. When the link is posted, it shows a picture of the card.
Turn parts off
In your event's Settings tab, the Engagement card has switches for Public recap page, Photo wall, Achievement badges and Share cards. They're all on until you turn them off. If you turn off Public recap page, visitors see the same wait message as before the event ends. If you turn off Share cards, the Share links disappear and any card link stops working.
Tips
- Preview the recap before you finalize so you can fix any scores first.
- Share cards need Achievement badges on, because the Share links sit next to each team's badges.
- Send the recap link in your thank-you email to golfers and sponsors.
