Add custom questions to your registration form
Quick answer
On the Registration tab, click Edit registration form. Under Add a question, type a Question label, pick an Answer type, choose whether it's asked once per registration or once per golfer, then click Add question. You can make a question required, show it only when another answer matches, and save the answer to a golfer field.

Overview
The registration form builder lets you ask golfers your own questions when they sign up, like shirt size, meal choice, or whether they'll join the dinner. You build the list once and it shows on your public registration page.

Add a question
Open the form builder
Click Registration in the sidebar, then click Edit registration form. The page is titled Registration form.
Type the question
Under Add a question, fill in Question label (for example, Shirt size). Optionally fill in Help text (optional) to show extra instructions under the question.
Choose who answers
Under Who answers this?, pick Per registration (once) if one person answers for the whole sign-up, or Per golfer (repeats) to ask every golfer on the team.
Choose the answer type
Under Answer type, pick one: Short text, Email address, Number, Yes / No, Multiple choice (pick one), Dropdown (pick one), or Checkboxes (pick many).
Add the choices
For the three choice types, an Answer choices box appears. For each choice, fill in a Label (shown to golfer) and a Value (stored internally). Click + Add choice for more. You need at least one choice with both filled in.
Make it required
Tick Yes, required under Required? if golfers must answer. Required questions show a red star on the registration page.
Click Add question
The question joins the Form questions list. If something is missing you'll see a message such as Label is required.
Optional settings

You can only pick questions already on the list, and the rule works within the same group of questions (a Per golfer question reads that same golfer's answer). |

Reorder or delete questions
The Form questions list shows each question with badges for required, Per golfer or Per registration, and its answer type. Use the up and down arrows to change the order. Click Delete and confirm to remove a question. There's no edit button, so to change a question, delete it and add it again.
Tips
- Use Per golfer for things each person answers, like shirt size. Use Per registration for things asked once, like a dinner headcount.
- Add the question that controls a Show only if… rule first. The rule can only point to questions that are already on the list.
- Keep Label (shown to golfer) friendly. The Value is just what we store.

Frequently asked questions
What kinds of questions can I ask?
Short text, Email address, Number, Yes / No, Multiple choice (pick one), Dropdown (pick one), and Checkboxes (pick many).
What's the difference between Per registration and Per golfer?
Per registration questions are asked once for the whole sign-up. Per golfer questions repeat for each player on the team.
Can I show a question only to some people?
Yes. Use Show only if… to pick an earlier question and the answer it must equal. The new question only appears when the golfer gives that answer.
Can I change a question after I add it?
Not directly. You can reorder or delete it, so delete it and add it again with the changes.
How many golfers can sign up in one registration?
You choose, from 1 to 8, in Form settings at the top of the Registration form page.
