Run a two-day event
Quick answer
In Settings, open Event length and choose Two days, then click Save event length. Give each team a Day on the Teams tab. Each day's teams play on their own day. The scoreboard, public leaderboard and recap let you pick Day 1, Day 2 or Combined, which ranks the teams from both days together.

Overview
A two-day event is built for different teams playing each day. During play you see one day's results at a time. At the end you can show every team from both days together.
Who this is for
Organizers running an event over two days with different teams each day.
Turn on two days
Open Settings
Open your event and click Settings.
Open Event length
Single-day events show a small button, Run this over multiple days?. Click it to open the Event length card.
Choose Two days
Pick Two days (This event runs over 2 days, with different teams each day). One day is the normal single-day event.
Pick the day that is playing
Under Which day is playing right now?, choose Day 1 or Day 2. Check-in, the course map, and the live leaderboard start on this day.
Click Save event length
The day controls now appear on the Teams, Check-in, Scoreboard and public pages.
Put each team on a day
Open the Teams tab
Each team now has a Day menu next to its starting hole.

It saves as soon as you change the menu. There is no separate button.
Add a team for the other day
Open + Add single team manually. It has a Day menu, set to the day playing right now. Choose the day, then click Add team.
Switch to the next day
Go back to Settings
Open Event length.
Change Which day is playing right now?

How results are shown
| Where | What you see |
|---|---|
| Scoreboard and Check-in tabs | Day 1, Day 2 and Combined buttons. They start on the day playing now while the event is live, and on Combined once the event is Final or archived. |
| Public leaderboard | The same Day 1, Day 2 and Combined buttons. It starts on the day playing now while live, and on Combined after the event is Final or archived. |
| TV wallboard | No buttons. It follows your setting and is labeled Day 1, Day 2 or Combined — all days. |
| Recap page | Starts on Combined. The Day 1, Day 2 and Combined buttons show once the event is Final or archived. |
A Day view ranks only the teams on that day. Combined ranks every team from both days together on the same boards you turned on in Settings.
Tips
- Set the day teams before check-in opens so each day's staff see only their own list.
- On the morning of Day 2, change Which day is playing right now? first, so every screen opens on the right day.
- Two days is the most an event can run.
- Switching back to One day moves every team onto day 1.
Troubleshooting
| If you see this | Try this |
|---|---|
| I only see a button saying Run this over multiple days? | The event is set to One day. Click the button, choose Two days and save. |
| No Day menu on the Teams tab | Day menus only show when Event length is Two days. |
| No teams assigned to Day 2 yet (on Check-in or Scoreboard) | No team is on that day. Set a team's Day on the Teams tab, or add a team and choose Day 2. |
| The public leaderboard shows only Day 1 teams | It is on Day 1. Click Day 2 or Combined above the board, and check Which day is playing right now? in Settings. |
| The recap has no day buttons | They appear once the event is marked Final. |
