The ScrambleSync iPhone app for organizers and golfers

Download ScrambleSync from the App Store and choose Golfer or Organizer. Golfers type their team code and tap Start scoring. Organizers sign in with the same email and password (or passkey) they use on the web and can run event day from their phone. Card swap scoring only works in a web browser for now.

Overview
The ScrambleSync app is a native iPhone app. Golfers use it to score, see the leaderboard, play side games, and send messages. Organizers use it to manage their events on the go: teams and players, check-in, live controls, the scoreboard, messages, and more. Everything stays in sync with the website.
Who this is for
Organizers who want event-day tools in their pocket, and golfers who prefer an app to the web scorecard. Nobody has to download it. Golfers can always score in a phone browser at scramblesync.com/play.
For golfers
Open the app and tap Golfer
You'll see Let's get scoring.
Type your Team code
It's on your cart sign or in your invite.
Tap Start scoring
Your team's scorecard opens. The tabs along the bottom are Scorecard, Leaderboard, Games, Messages, and Search.
Review and sign your card
When you finish, tap Review & sign card.
For organizers
Open the app and tap Organizer
Sign in with the email and password you use on the web, or tap Sign in with passkey.
Pick an event
Your events are listed. Tap New scramble to create one from your phone.
Use the event sections
Sections match the website sidebar: Setup, Live Day, Engagement, and Records. Check-in staff only see Teams, Players, and Check-in.
What still needs a web browser
- Card swap (partner scoring). Golfers on a card-swap team need to score at scramblesync.com/play in a browser, not in the app.
- Billing, plan changes, and connecting Stripe payouts.
- Designing cart signs and printing PDFs.
Tips
- Golfers don't need the app. Sharing the QR code or scramblesync.com/play works for everyone.
- Allow location while using the app if you want the hole map and distances.
